Pipistrel "Electri-Flies" Oshkosh - Again !
Pipistrel Displaying Extensive Aircraft Line... Including Production Electric Training Aircraft

International aircraft designers and manufacturer Pipistrel, is set to (once again!) “electri-fly” the annual EAA AirVenture Fly-In and Tradeshow in Oshkosh, WI, July 22rd through to the 28th.

Pipistrel is displaying an extensive selection of aircraft, with a special emphasis on revolutionary, new, electrically-powered, training aircraft.

Pipistrel will be displaying:

Conventional Aircraft
Pipistrel Virus SW, a Two-Place, Rotax-powered High-Wing LSA

Pipistrel Sinus FLEX, Multi-Purpose, Two-Place, High Wing, Rotax-Powered LSA

Pipistrel ALPHA Trainer, Technologically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) for the flight training markets

Electric Aircraft

Not content to leave interested flyers with inadequate details, Pipistrel has produced, for the first time, a new four-color magazine style format brochure. Greatly detailed, the 32-page publication will be available in print format at the Pipistrel display area at AirVenture, as well as selected Oshkosh locations. Monday July 22 - 9am. At Pipistrel display sites 86 and 87 Celebration Way
Signing of a 50 aircraft order for the Pipistrel ALPHA Trainer, Technologically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) with US Aeroclub.

Tuesday July 23 - 8am. At BendixKing booth #289-292
Press conference with BendixKing regarding a new aircraft model the “ALPHA King” a joint development between Pipistrel and BendixKing utilizing their new AeroVue Touch Integrated Flight Deck instrument range developed for the LSA training market.

Wednesday July 24 – 10.30am at EAA press headquarters

Pipistrel will host a press conference in the EAA press headquarters outlining several very important achievements and milestones for the last 12 months as well as very important announcements on new product developments.

Wednesday July 24 – 5pm. At Pipistrel display sites 86 and 87 Celebration Way

Pipistrel will host a Pod-A-Palooza pizza party at the Pipistrel Booth, sites 86 and 87 starting 5pm through to the opening of the night airshow. Pod-a-Palooza is a celebration for media creators and generators, open to all accredited media, podcasters, podcast listeners, aviators, Pipistrel supporters and any aviation enthusiasts who care to drop by. All are welcome.

Wednesday July 24 – 6.30pm. At Pipistrel display sites 86 and 87 Celebration Way

Pipistrel will be giving a special award to 14-year-old Riley Speidel who recently flew solo from California to Maine. Riley is the youngest person to fly solo across continental USA.

Thursday July 25 – After 3pm. At Pipistrel display sites 86 and 87 Celebration Way

FAA administrator, Dan Elwell visits the Pipistrel display to look at the 50% scale model and discuss the new Pipistrel 801, eVTOL aircraft the as part of the FAA innovation tour.

Electric aircraft flight demonstrations

Pipistrel will be conducting several flight demonstrations of its electric aircraft during the Fly-In/Airshow and plans on conducting several aerial displays during the Manufacturer's showcase throughout the week.
